Awards Season predictions

With the NHL Awards coming up shortly we choose our winners for most of the awards.

Nikita Kucherov led the NHL in points for the 2018-2019 season.

The NHL awards take place on Wednesday June 19th and this year the NHL saw a rise in scoring with 6 players breaking 100 points (Kucherov, Mcdavid, Kane, Draisaitl, Crosby and Marchand...Oh shit a rat).

Hart Trophy: Nikita Kucherov

The Russian forward had 128 points (41 goals, 87 assists) and already collected the Art Ross Trophy for leading the league in points at the end of the season. Really cocky guy and probably wont show up for the awards because he wants to hang out with his Russian coke friend Evgeny Kuznetsov.

Calder Trophy: Elias Pettersson

The man single handedly took over the Canucks from Brock Boeser. With his first appearance in the NHL All Star Game, he will not allow Quinn Hughes to run his show next season.

Jack Adams Award: Craig Berube

The man brought the Blues from dead last to the Stanley Cup Finals that takes some balls. Also he will definitely take credit for Jordan Binnington's success.

Messier Leadership Award: Justin Williams

Despite being Aho's bitch the man helped out the Canes reach the conference finals where he got big dawged by Marchand. Overall leader, good guy, and earned this one.

Norris Trophy: Brent Burns

Only guy nominated I don't mind. Burns is a great player with a great shot but I CANNOT stand Mark Giordano. Guy is like 100 years old with no hair and people treat him like Bobby Orr. The only reason his +/- is so good is because he's out there when Johnny Hockey is doing his thing. Hedman plays on a good team, Burns all the way.

Vezina Trophy: Robin Lehner

The one year this guy chilled out he was able to save the puck and that helped the Islanders. No punching players + new team = good Robin Lehner.

Selke Trophy: Patrice Bergeron

The Tom Brady of the Bruins all around great player. Hot take without Patrice his line mates (Marchand and Pasternak) would not be where they are today. Marchand had 100 points this season and most likely 70% of them were all Bergeron.
