WINNIPEG THURSDAY, JUNE 6th: Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff is currently strategizing a blockbuster deal involving the Phoenix’ Coyotes. As of this morning, Cheveldayoff is trying to reach an agreement to send Mattheu Perrault to the Pheonix Coyotes for Martin Erat. Kevin believes that Erat still has many more years left to make a difference on Winnipegs depleted fourth line. Erat has been a difference maker and even helped the Predators reach new levels with the accusation of Filip Forsberg. Furthermore, the Coyotes will also throw in a conditional 8th round pick for Jets captain Blake Wheeler. Chev says hes fed up with him trying to pass through 4 people to get it to Laine. Also, his defensive ability reminds him of James Harden in the 2015 conference finals. If the Coyotes win the western conference, the Jets retain an 8th round pick and can start with good prospects for a better future. Chev is planning a rebuild next year and with the riddance of Perrault and Wheeler the team can finally move on from their troubled past. We are expecting the deal to be finalized by later this week and Jets fans can now get excited for Erat fucking shit up on the fourth line.
